Hello!
I work with individuals (ages 10+), families, and I also facilitate therapeutic groups. My areas of clinical focus include:

-
Body-based, somatic therapy for nervous system regulation
-
Trauma
-
Relationship concerns & attachment patterns
-
Body image, self-worth, and identity
-
Addiction, coping, and emotional overwhelm
-
Parenting, family transitions, and adolescence (10+)
I offer free consultation calls so we can explore whether we might be a good fit to work together.
Hollyn Pinar, Clinical Intern
I’m a developing counselor who loves supporting deep feelers, overthinkers, and intellectualizers who desire to reconnect with their bodies, emotions, and authentic selves. I believe healing begins with compassion, not self-critique.
My approach is rooted in existential-humanistic, person-centered, somatic experiencing, and expressive art therapies. My path into counseling grew from years of teaching dance and yoga, where I learned to listen to the body as an essential part of healing. I thoughtfully draw from different therapeutic modalities as our work unfolds, honoring that there is no one-size-fits-all path toward healing.

I believe suffering isn’t something that needs to be “fixed.” It is a deeply human, universal experience that can be a doorway into greater understanding, aliveness, and integration. Our work together often includes gently noticing the ways your nervous system has learned to cope; while also helping you reconnect with the inner wisdom your body already carries. My hope is to walk alongside you as you learn to trust yourself, feel your feelings, welcome every part of your story, and rediscover meaning, novelty, and joy in the ordinary.

Therapy with me is non-performative, honest, and relational. I aim to create a warm, compassionate, genuinely human space where humor, real talk, gut-checks, grounded presence, and authenticity are welcome. Together, we’ll move out of hyperawareness and back into your lived experience as you step into your enoughness, trust your body’s signals, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that have been waiting to be felt.

My mission is to help you build safety within your system, deepen trust in yourself, and transform your suffering into insight, integration, and aliveness.
