Alice Boertje, LPC, is an experienced trauma therapist, clinical director, and community educator who has presented to schools, parents, community organizations, and professional teams on how trauma impacts the brain, body, and relationships. She is passionate about offering thoughtful, compassionate, and clinically-informed support to communities navigating overwhelming events.

Alice has supported parent communities following school violence, including most recently speaking with families in Evergreen, Colorado about how to care for children and teens after a school shooting. Her presentations provide education, grounded reassurance, practical guidance, and space for understanding the emotional, relational, and developmental impact of trauma.
