About the event
Event Description:
This two day workshop holds space for a wide range of relationships to the body—including body image, chronic illness or health challenges, menstrual cycle awareness, disability, or simply disconnection from physical sensation due to social conditioning. It is not prescriptive about what ‘body connection’ should look like for each woman. The goal is to build awareness, not to correct or fix anyone’s relationship to her body.
Our bodies are constantly in transition, yet women’s changing bodily experiences are often overlooked about how to tend to and care for ourselves throughout our lives.
